Wright Williams & Kelly to Demonstrate the IC Industry's First Real-time System for Monitoring Equipment Cost and Utilization
July 9, 2001 (Pleasanton, CA) Wright Williams & Kelly (WWK) announced today that it will be demonstrating the IC industry's first real-time cost of ownership (COO) and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) system at SEMICON West. Demonstrations will take place in San Francisco at Moscone Hall North from July 16-18, 2001 in booth #6574.
This new server/web-based system helps fabs effectively manage and model manufacturing processes by identifying cost drivers and the cost impact of capital equipment purchases, alternative processes, and overall equipment efficiency (OEE) improvements. WWK is the developer of the semiconductor industry's client-side standard for cost of ownership (COO) and OEE software, TWO COOL®.
WWK will also be demonstrating COOL FUSION, its Internet enabled sales force productivity software. COOL FUSION incorporates a powerful user interface that allows direct and indirect sales forces to quickly configure their products and generate pricing/quotations, and, if relevant, throughput and cost of ownership (COO) reports.
